THE FAYETTE ROTARY CLUB has awarded Laykn
Baker its annual $500 scholarship to a Fayette High School graduate.
Making the official presentation Wednesday [June 9, 2010] is club
president Terry Furstenau. Laykn is the daughter of Rebekah Baker
and at FHS was active in band, choir, academic bowl, math and science
club, softball, Spanish, and art. She plans to major in music
education at Central Methodist University.
