District 6080 Leaders Visit Fayette Rotary Club

Members of the Fayette Rotary Club on Wednesday (October 8) welcomed District Governor Sherry Nielsen from Lake Ozark.

The annual governor's visit to the club is a time for local Rotarians to learn more about special efforts and programs which are taking place on the district, national and world levels.  Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary International is based in Evanston, Ill., and is the oldest of the various service clubs.  It has a presence in more than 160 countries worldwide, with more than one million members.

The local club with about 45 members meets each Wednesday noon in the CMU Student and Community Center.  It was founded in 1937.
